A Single Moment
Joining in with Amanda at Soulemama with my image for the week. A single moment, something to remember and savour.
I know it is slightly cheating but I do want to give this piece of art a title, it would seem a shame to leave it nameless. So allow me to grandly reveal…
Rental House Wall 2011
I thank you.

I’m guessing that’s NOT how you wanted to paint the walls??? We’ve all been there mama! You will laugh about this soon, if you’re not already.

Lol, yes it wasn’t quite what I had in mind! I kept trying to stop myself but couldn’t help laughing even as I was scrubbing the walls, but I didn’t want them to think it was ok! It was one of those ‘wow, I’m really a mum’ moments.
Oh, dear! I’m sure you will remember this for more reasons than one! 🙂
Yes this one left a mark!
that’s quite a deep piece… like an early Banksy….
I think they were making some kind of statement about the decay of urban environments and unrestricted access to communal art spaces. Or something like that ; )
i can see the smirk on your face, mama…. yup that’s what we all deal with and i do have to admit also love!
thank you for stopping by my moment.
I have to admit to laughing as I scrubbed the walls, though after about half an hour the amusement had worn off. Plus I didn’t want to encourage them!
Precious hands! 🙂
Thanks! I am trying to see this as a momentoe rather than ‘evidence’!!
Oh dear – that is truely one of those ‘don’t get cross, get the camera’ moments!!
have a great weekend

I think I need that slogan on a t-shirt!
Oh this is absolutely PERFECT! The title of your blog is just lovely. Good luck on your adventures!
Thank you so much for your kind words: )
LOVE it. and cannot let my little artist see that. he will want to create his own installation!
Lol, I hope we aren’t setting off some kind of anarchist art craze!
The best kind of art happens in rental properties! Love it! My son decided that our white leather sofa was a great place to draw on with black ink pen. That was fun cleaning up. Thanks for visiting my blog. I love how Soulemama connects up people. With best wishes, Jacinta
Eeeeek, white leather and a marker! That sounds like a ‘special’ moment! At least I can console myself that we’ll be leaving at the end of the year – I think there might be some redecorating going on though!
Ha! Perfect title in my books. The only said thing about this is you can’t take it with you. Captured on film for posterity is the best alternative!
Thanks for stopping by!

Lol, I think this one is going to be on their 18th birthday cards!
