Ice Walk

Ice Walk

There really is nothing like a walk with a 4 year old to make you see things through new eyes.

Icy puddles and a sunny walk with Mama and the crazy dog, high adventure and excitement can be had!

We walked (and slid and ran and jumped and cracked and crashed) in the November sunshine, enjoying the freedom of a sunny day.  A found prodding device yielded much fun and bashing, the ice flying under his ministrations.

I couldn’t hold onto my tiredness after that and found myself wishing for knees young enough to crouch on the cold ground and examine the ice shards.  The world through his eyes is way more exciting than it is through mine, I’m trying to borrow his point of view more often.
